Limited Warranty: Bathtubs, wall tile and fully refinished fiberglass fixtures, are warrantied for a period of 5 years, on a pro-rated basis as set forth below, against peeling or other failure of adhesion of refinishing materials due to workmanship. Sinks, spot repair (chip) and three-step fiberglass repair are warrantied for a period of 1 year against failure of adhesion. The 5 year warranty shall be prorated during the first year and the coverage will be 100%. All charges will be based upon the then current, regular pricing.
THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY:
- The surface must not remain continuously wet from items such as bathmats left on the surface without drying both the mat and the tub between uses.
- The fixture must not be used for water storage or contain standing water for extended periods of time.Damage caused by continuous wetness from leaking or dripping plumbing.
- Damage, chips, or knicks caused by sharp or falling objects, or by misuse.
- Staining or discoloration from chemicals, rust, bleach, hair dyes or the use of abrasive cleaners.
- The use of abrasive or harsh cleaners and chemicals.
- Movement in the substructure resulting in cracks or splits in the refinished surfaces or grout lines.
- Degradation of the refinished surface due to lack of cleaning.
- Placing masking tape or any other adhesive on the refinished surface.
- Change of property status (i.e change from private to commercial or rental) without notification.
In the event of any failure covered under this warranty, M.K. Refinishing will, at its option:
- Repair the failed area
- Repair the entire fixture, or
- Refund the price of the job to you, prorated as set forth above if applicable.
All charges will be based upon the then current, regular pricing.
